Formal music training:
Passed 7th grade certificate exam under Allahabad Gharana from Bengal Music College in hindustani classical vocal and modern songs.
Achievements:
Worked as a vocalist and guitarist for the famous bengali rock fusion band called alokbarsho.won several state level and national level competitions like band-e-mataram 2006,kbl war of the rockstars, times youth challenge 2007.released a bestselling album called “marijuana” from saregama hmv in 2008 .the songs were played regularly on power107.8 fm , radio mirchi, amar 106.2 fm, sangeet bangla , tara muzik tv channels.interviews of me got published in the telegraph , times of india, ananda bazar patrika,sangab pratidin and and other leading newspapers.
Worked as vocalist and guitarist for a jazz fusion english band called “looney cubez”..released an album with the band worlwide in 2019 called hurl the truth.toured and performed with the band in live gigs all over india , in college fests like iit kharagpur springfest, heritage institute , jadavpur university sanskriti etc and prominent corporate events.
I have been working as a composer, arranger and session player at hmv studios since 2008. I have been part of many film score production, basicalbum production, advertisement jingles etc.
I have been working as a guitar instructor for the last 10 years now and also have 5 years experience in taking online classes.
