Bhowmick is an example of dedication &
commitement. A senior disciple of Guru Smt.
Thankamani Kutty , Sangeeta developed into a
regular performer & occupied a prominent
position in her Guru’s troupe in a very short
time. She has had the opportunity to perform in
a number of places in her guru’s troupe. She has
participated in many programmes produced by
the Doordarshan Kendra, Calcutta & has also
recorded at the central production center, New
Delhi.
Her performance in the Kalamandalam Dance
Festival, Konark Dance festival, Khajuraho
Nrityotsav, Vedvyas nrityotsav & Classical
conference organized by Pracheen Kala Kendra,
Chandigarh has been very much appreciated & has received rare
reviews.
Invitations have been many. She has reached excellence as evident in her
performance at many countries outside INDIA& also in INDIA at Uday
Shankar Dance Festival, Dover lane Dance Festival, Dhanuyatra Festival,
Pradhanpat Festival, Parab Festival-Koraput, Puri
Beach Festival, Classical Evening organized by Eastern
Zonal Cultural Center which has been praised by her
Consonieers & critics alike.Recently her performances
at WORLD FESTIVAL MALLORCA at SPAIN has been
