Sohini Debnath is a Kathak dancer performing both Jaipur and Lucknow gharana… A disciple of padmashree Guru Rani Karnaa.
MA in Kathak, Sohini is a grade-A artiste with the Doordarshan Kendra and empanelled solo aritiste with ICCR. Widely travelled in India, Sohini has performed in almost all major festivals in India. She has been touring extensively in Europe and other countries since 2009.
She is the Secretary and Creative head of Samskritiki Shreyaskar, the Kolkata based Dance and Music Academy.
Sohini has been conducting regular Kathak workshops and Lecture Demonstrations in different parts of India and abroad.
Targeted students : Beginners to Advance level students. Classes are customised based on the student’s experience level.
Class type : Weekly Class(1 class/week of duration 1 hour each ).
Preferred time to take the class : Monday(16:00-17:00 IST),Tuesday(21:00-22:00 IST)
Language : English,Hindi,Bengali.
